The department of Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2018 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. Nowadays, there is a huge demand for Electrical Engineers in various diverse sectors like solar power generation, captive power generation, and power utilities in every manufacturing and service industries, etc. in the world.

The department is backboned with state of the art laboratories with sufficiently advanced equipment and latest simulation software tools as per academic requirements. The department has strong expertise in different specialized research areas like control system, power system, electrical machines, and FACTS devices. The department has a sound infrastructure and good research culture.
