Automation of the world, visualization of every activity before it comes to reality, or analyzing highly complicated data to bring out useful information are some of the tasks of computer engineers. To make our students competent to handle these tasks, we have organized our department with state-of-the-art computing facilities and experienced faculty.

The department is well-equipped with high-speed computers with Intel Core i5 processors and the latest operating systems such as Windows/Fedora/Ubuntu/Sun Solaris, and Red Hat Enterprise Server. All the laboratories are connected with a LAN having 1024Mbps NKN and 100Mbps private dedicated leased lines for uninterrupted internet facilities. The HP and Dell Power Edge servers with Xeon processors and hot-swappable SCSI drives are available for different types of online and offline services.

Along with all the required facilities, we have also made available major software such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio.NET, and Novell Netware. Our Department Library includes various manuals and special books on computer science, which helps students and faculties with day-to-day referencing.
